Dressage TestPro BE Privacy Policy
Android edition
This notice applies to TestPro BE supplied by Lion Dog Apps Limited. The common notice below describes the features available in the relevant edition and release; availability differs between apps and platforms.
Last updated and effective: 22 October 2026.
1. Who we are and what this notice covers
Lion Dog Apps Limited, trading as TestPro, is responsible for the personal information described here. Our company number is 10198949. Our registered office is Llys Lew Farm, Brynsiencyn, Llanfair PG, Anglesey, Wales, LL61 6SQ. Contact support@dressagetestpro.com for privacy questions or requests.
This notice covers dressagetestpro.com and the TestPro mobile apps, including the current HiScore features. The information processed depends on your edition, device and the features you choose. It also summarises the separate Training Grant workflow at grant.dressagetestpro.com; grant-specific information and choices must be read alongside this notice.
2. Information used by the apps
Purchase and app identifiers. We use RevenueCat and the relevant app store to manage subscriptions, restore access and provide support. This can involve a RevenueCat app-user identifier, purchase and entitlement records, app and device information, and Android identifiers where used by that build. A RevenueCat identifier described as “Anonymous” is a persistent, pseudonymous identifier; it does not mean that all associated information is anonymous.
Optional profiles and BD membership. If you use profile or membership features, we may process your email address, display name, membership/authentication status and contact preferences. Email addresses can be stored in RevenueCat and linked to your purchase identifier. Firebase authentication is used where the profile/sign-in feature requires it. These optional features are separate from ordinary app use.
HiScore records. If you choose to save a HiScore entry, venue, horse name, date and test ID are required. Marks, judge name, rider name and any notes you enter are optional. These records are stored in Firebase against your RevenueCat app-user identifier. Even when you leave the rider name blank, the combination of horse, venue, date and other details may identify someone. Current customer HiScore does not upload original score-sheet photographs or PDFs for OCR.
Feedback and support. We receive the content and email address of messages you send us, together with app/device details and identifiers included in the message. In-app feedback may be associated with your RevenueCat identifier and stored in Firebase and RevenueCat. We use these records to respond, investigate problems and improve the service; they are not inherently anonymous.
Voice commands. Caller uses microphone access when you enable its listening feature. Voice commands are processed on your device. Caller never records audio or uploads it to TestPro. Microphone input is discarded as soon as it has been processed to identify voice commands. You can manage microphone permission in your device settings. The listening feature needs this permission.
Operational information. SDKs and hosting services may process installation/session identifiers, device/app versions, crash diagnostics and network/security records. Notification tokens may be used for notification features where enabled. Notification permissions and marketing preferences are separate choices.
3. Website and Training Grant information
Website records and cookies. Website requests generate technical records such as IP address, request time, requested page, browser information and security events. Our WordPress websites use cookies for functions such as signing in and managing authenticated sessions. Where a comment form offers a remember-me option, choosing it can save your name, email address and website in cookies for a later comment. You can clear or block cookies in your browser, although sign-in and some other functions may then be unavailable. Embedded third-party content, where present, can also involve that provider’s cookies or similar technologies and is subject to its privacy information.
Marketing cookies and Meta Pixel. If you accept marketing cookies on dressagetestpro.com, the Meta Pixel sends page-view, browser/device and cookie-identifier information to Meta. This helps measure Facebook and Instagram advertising and create audiences for relevant adverts. Meta may associate these visits with your Meta account and uses information under its own Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. The pixel is blocked until you accept. You can reject marketing cookies or withdraw permission through Cookie settings on the website. We remember your choice in your browser for up to one year. Withdrawing stops future pixel loading; it does not undo information already sent to Meta.
Comments and blog contributions. If you leave a comment or submit material for publication on our websites or blogs, the contribution, your chosen display name and any information you put in the content may be visible publicly. We use contact details, IP address, browser information and moderation records to administer contributions, respond where appropriate and help detect spam or abuse. Your email address is not published by us merely because you supplied it with a comment. Please avoid including private information about yourself or anyone else in public contributions. If an avatar service is enabled, it may receive a value derived from your email address to display your avatar.
A Training Grant enquiry and application can include contact details, postcode, riding/training experience, horse and competition information, goals, supporting documents, video links or a Dropbox request, declarations, saved drafts, correspondence, eligibility checks, judges’ assessments and administrative notes. A TestPro identifier may be checked manually when assessing eligibility.
Authorised grant administrators and appointed judges use relevant application material to administer and assess the grant. Award decisions are made by people. Videos supplied through YouTube or Dropbox are also subject to those providers’ controls; an unlisted YouTube link can be viewed and shared by anyone who obtains it. Do not include unnecessary private information about yourself or other people.
Optional grant research and publicity choices are separate from assessment. Permission to contact you about publicity is not, by itself, permission to publish your photographs or video. Research reuse must remain within the permission actually given; submitting an application is not blanket permission for AI training.
4. Why we use information
| Purpose | Lawful basis and limits |
|---|---|
| Deliver app access, purchase restoration and chosen HiScore/profile functions | Performance of a contract where processing is necessary to provide the service you request. Optional fields are used for the feature you choose, not unrelated marketing. |
| Support, essential diagnostics, security and fraud prevention | Legitimate interests in maintaining a reliable and secure service, after assessing necessity and the effect on users. Device-access rules and store permissions still apply. |
| Grant enquiries, administration and human assessment | Legitimate interests in administering enquiries and running a fair grant assessment. Winner administration may involve a contract and legal financial obligations. Optional research and publicity are separate choices. |
| Optional marketing cookies, research or publicity | Specific consent where required, with separate choices and an effective withdrawal route. No inferred research or publication permission. |
| Legal duties, accounting and disputes | Compliance with an applicable legal obligation, or legitimate interests in establishing or defending legal rights, as appropriate. |
5. Providers and disclosure
Relevant providers include Apple or Google for store purchases, RevenueCat for subscription management and related attributes, Firebase/Google services for the enabled app functions and cloud records, Squidix for website/email hosting, and Meta for advertising measurement when you accept marketing cookies. The Grant workflow also uses Gravity Forms on the hosted website and any YouTube or Dropbox services you choose for videos. Authorised staff, grant judges and necessary professional advisers receive information relevant to their role. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.
Provider roles differ: an app store can process information for its own purposes, while other processing is performed on our behalf. We will identify material additional recipients before introducing them. Personal information is not made anonymous merely by sending it under an app-user ID.
6. International processing and security
Some providers process information outside the UK and EEA. Applicable transfer safeguards depend on the provider, service, destination and contractual arrangement. Ask us for information about transfers relating to your data.
We use access controls and other technical and organisational measures appropriate to the information and risks. No online service can promise absolute security. Keep your device, sign-in credentials and private Grant draft links secure.
7. Retention and deletion
We keep your app account, profile and saved HiScore information for five years after your last use of the service. This allows you to re-subscribe without losing your previously saved score sheets and HiScore records. After five years of inactivity, that information will be deleted.
You can ask us to delete your information at any time by emailing support@dressagetestpro.com. Please tell us which app or service you use and include your app-user identifier if available, so that we can locate the relevant records. Do not send a password.
Other information, including support correspondence, website contributions, security logs and Grant records, is kept only for as long as needed for its stated purpose and any applicable legal obligations. The Grant’s specific information and choices apply to application material. If we need to retain limited information after a deletion request for a legal obligation or to establish or defend a legal claim, we will explain the reason. Deleted information may remain in restricted backup copies until those backups are replaced; it will not be used for ordinary service purposes.
Deleting app data, resetting a profile and cancelling an app-store subscription are different actions. Uninstalling the app does not itself erase cloud records or cancel store billing.
8. Your choices and rights
Contact support@dressagetestpro.com to ask for access, correction or deletion, or to discuss restriction, portability or an objection. Tell us the app/edition and relevant identifier where available; do not send a password. We may ask for proportionate information to verify your identity, rather than routinely requiring a passport and utility bill.
Access requests are normally free and are handled without undue delay, usually within one month. The law permits limited exceptions, extensions and charges in specific circumstances; we will explain where one applies.
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting processing already carried out lawfully. Rights depend on the processing and lawful basis; deletion is not absolute where a lawful retention requirement applies.
Raise privacy concerns with us first if you wish. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office, or another relevant supervisory authority.
9. Children and people mentioned in records
TestPro editions, including Pony Club, may be used by children. Privacy information and choices must be appropriate to their age. A parent or guardian can contact us about a child’s information, with appropriate checks. The Grant has its own adult eligibility rules; those rules do not make all TestPro apps adult-only.
Only include another person’s information when you have the rights or other lawful authority to do so, and avoid unnecessary sensitive information in Notes, support messages or videos. A competition result or a judge’s name can still be personal information even if it is available elsewhere.
10. Changes to this notice
We will keep this notice aligned with the services we offer and explain material new uses of personal information before they begin. We will update the date above when this notice changes and provide additional information or choices where required.
